Andlit/Face:

The Body Shop, Nature's minerals blush brush

Mjúkur og góður kabúkí bursti sem sér ekki á sér eftir 4 ára notkun og endalausa þvotta! Þrátt fyrir að þetta sé kinnalitabursti, þá nota ég hann í púður á allt andlitið.

I use this brush for both loose and pressed powder. Even though it's a blush brush, I prefer this size for a all over powder brush.

Sigma Round Top Kabuki - F82

 Nota þennan bursta í fljótandi meik. Hann gefur mjög lýtalausa áferð. Ótrúlega mjúkur og auðveldur í notkun.

This is my favorite brush for foundation, it gives a flawless application. It's super soft and it blends my foundation perfectly, so it makes it super easy and fast to apply foundation.

Mac 187

 Þessi bursti er mjög góður fyrir fljótandi meik, hann gefur mjög lítalausa fallega áferð. Einnig er gott að nota hann í kinnaliti sem eru mjög pigmented þ.e. það kemur mjög mikill litur af þeim þegar maður setur þá á sig, en þessi bursti er góður til að gefa létta áferð á kinnalitum sem eru heldur pigmented.

I like this brush for both foundation and very pigmented blushes. As I have very fair skin I have to be very light handed on a lot of highly pigmented blushes, so for those blushes I like to use this brush. It also gives a very flawless and airbrushed look when used with liquid foundation. 

Mac 130 (Limeted edition)

 Þennan bursta nota ég mest fyrir krem kinnaliti og highlighter. Hann er líka góður til að blanda meiki inn í litlu hornin eins og við nefið.

This brush is perfect for cream blushes and highlighters, it gives a nice finish and it's makes blending out cream products a dream!

Sigma, Tapered Highlighter F35

 Þennan bursta nota ég til að highlighta andlitið. Einnig er gott að nota þennan bursta til að skyggja andlitið, þar sem hann er með mjög oddmjóum enda, þá er gott að nota hann til að skyggja kinnbeinin.

I use this brush to either highlight or contour the face. The tapered end makes it really easy to contour the cheekbones.

Mac 168

 Skáhallandi kinnalita/skyggingar bursti. Þarf ég að segja meir! Hann gefur fallega áferð bæði sem kinnalita- og skyggingabursti.

I mostly use this brush as a blush brush, but when I go out I like to contour my face with this one. Super easy to use and gives a nice finish.

Augu/Eyes:

Mac 239

 Góður bursti til að pakka á augnskugga á augnlokin, getur líka verið góður í skyggingar. Nauðsynlegt að eiga álíka bursta.

Love this brush for putting eyeshadow all over the lid, it can also be good in the crease for shading.

Mac 217

 Einn af mínum uppáhalds burstum. Nota hann til að blanda út harðar línur og einnig í bæði skyggingar og til að highlighta/birta til undir augabrúninni. Svo er hann líka góður í hyljara. Ótrúlega góður allra handa bursti! Gott að eiga nokkra svona álíka bursta.

One of my favorite kind of brushes. I use this one to blend out harsh lines, I also like it in the crease and to conceal my under-eye area. I would recommend everyone to have a couple of these kind of brushes.

Crown Brush - C433 Pro Blending Fluff

 Álíka bursti og mac 217. Hann er örlítið stífari og er því ekki eins góður í hyljara, en best finnst mér að nota þennan í að blanda út mjög harðar línur og skyggingar.

This brush is very similar to the mac 217, however it's a little bit denser and therefore I really like this one in the crease and blending out really harsh lines. It also holds the shape a tad better than the mac one!

Mac 226 (Limited edition)

 Oddmjór blöndunar bursti. Ótrúlega góður í skyggingar og til að blanda þær örlítið út. 

Tapered blending brush, it's also really good for the crease.

Sigma - Pencil E30

Góður bursti til að blanda út eyeliner/augnskugga neðri augnlokunum (augnháralínu).

I like this brush to put eyeshadow and blend it out on the lower lash line.

NN cosmetics smudger/liner 09

 Þennan bursta nota ég til að setja augnskugga á neðra auglokið og blanda út. 

This brush is good for both putting eyeshadow and blending eyeshadow for the lower lash area.

Mac 208

 Góður bursti til að fylla í augabrúnirnar. Einnig góður til að setja svartan augnskugga sem eyeliner, eða blanda smá út blýantseyeliner. Búin að eiga þennan í 4 ár og hann er nánast eins og nýr.

I use this brush to fill in my eyebrows and after 4 year usage it's still going strong. I also like this brush for lining my eyes with eyeshadow or smudging out eyeliner.

Mac 210

Nota þennan í gel liner. Stífur pensill, hárin haldast saman, auðvelt að gera fallega eyeliner línu með honum.

This brush I like for my gel liners. It's super easy to do a perfect straight line on your eyes with this brush.

5/10" Royal Crafters Choice - from the craft store

 Þessi bursti er keyptur í föndurbúð fyrir ca. 500 kr. og hann er engu síðri en eyeliner burstinn frá mac! Stíf hárin og gott að vinna með hann.

This brush is actually from a craft store. If anything I like it better than the mac one! Super stiff hairs and holds it shape really well.

Varir/Lips:

NN cosmetics - lip 14

  Það sérstaka við þennan varapensil er að hann er oddmjór, með oddinum nær maður að gera rosalega hreina línu með varalitnum og varirnar verða ótrúlega flottar.

What I like about this lip pencil is that it has a tapered end, I find it more easy to get a clean "straight" line on my lips with it. It's also spreads the lipstick without any streaks.
